Hi Takashi and thank you for the reply.
Please find attached the ACPI info from Dmesg just for info. I've a spare disk
that I'll throw a fresh OS 13.2 to on and use that as a test rig as per your
suggestions. In the meantime I've tried Fedora 21 with the same results. Looks
like some hardwork ahead for me and a learning experience.
