Firefox has two preferences for "New Windows and Tabs" called "Homepage and New
Windows" and "New tabs". Let's say the user sets both of these to "Firefox Home
(default)". The expectation is that these will be set to whatever the user
chooses in the "Firefox Home Content" section below.

If the user then opens a new tab, the "Firefox Home (default)" that is shown
there does indeed correspond to the selections in the "Firefox Home Content"
section. But if the user opens a new window, it instead loads
"https://www.opensuse.org/searchPage/"

This website is inserted by the
/usr/lib64/firefox/distribution/distribution.ini shipped in the
MozillaFirefox-branding-opensuse package, specifically this part:

    [LocalizablePreferences]
    browser.startup.homepage="https://www.opensuse.org/searchPage/"

There is some value in saying that Firefox is being confusing by mapping the
"Firefox Home (default)" preference differently for new windows vs new tabs in
the case where browser.startup.homepage is set. But even then, I think it would
be better if the branding package instead added a *new* option to the "Homepage
and new windows" dropdown titled "openSUSE Homepage" or similar. It's even fine
for that to be the default on a new install.

I don't think it's fine to hijack the "Firefox Home (default)" setting to point
to this homepage, especially when the same "Firefox Home (default)" value for
the "New Tabs" dropdown *does* refer to the home content. It is not even clear
how the user can avoid this behavior and use the actual Home Content until they
search around and find this forums post
