Created attachment 869944 [details] zypp log of the screen rotation issue Hi everyone, I notice is distro specific issue with packman, mesa and steam deck. The steam deck is a portrait native screen which Valve has applied patches to make it landscape. However, this package bug causes the screen to revert to native portrait orientation, but the software and touch input is unaware. As a result, you can do touch gestures in landscope while the screen is squashed in portrait mode. Steps to reproduce the problem 1. Enable the pacman repo https://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/misc/packman/suse/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/ 2. Use kde desktop 3. Wait until a staggered MESA update 4. Update Mesa. 5. Shutdown and boot 6. Notice the screen is rotated but the content and touch believe they are in landscape mode LSB Version: n/a Distributor ID: openSUSE Description: openSUSE Tumbleweed Release: 20231003 Codename: n/a Kernel: 6.5.0-7.gb5edcad-default (64-bit) Qt version: 5.15.10 KDE version: 5.110.0 KDE Plasma version: 5.27.8
