I tested this on a separate installation of 15.6.  The problem persists.  The
output of aplay -l, inxi -Axx and dmesg | grep snd_hda was the same.  The
kernel version in the 15.6 installation was 6.4.0.  As mentioned in the bug
report, this has also been tested on Tumbleweed, kernel version 6.8.x.  Again,
the same problem and aforementioned output is identical.
