I tried the kernel from http://download.opensuse.org/update/leap/42.3-test/x86_64/kernel-default-4.4.138-59.1.x86_64.rpm It works fine both on my physical Skylake CPU i7-6700 and on the emulated Skylake-Client-IBRS CPU in QEMU-KVM. Thanks for fixing this quickly!
