FWIW, the kernel in OBS Kernel:stable repo is based on 5.5.y.  You can try the
kernel package from there.  TW kernel is still in 5.4.y by some issues in 5.5
kernel.

I'm not against learning the kernel build process (it's good in anyway and it
might be needed later), but if we want a quick test, the rpm installation can
be faster.
