I'm trying to use the driver. Let me try switching to the rpm from the NVIDIA repo. FWIW, I have had the nvidia repo enabled before doing the upgrade. Maybe there is a vendor change involved, but I wasn't prompted when I ran `zypper dup`. I noticed that `rpm -q --requires nvidia-open-driver-G06-signed-kmp-default-550.127.05_k6.11.5_1-1.1.x86_64` didn't list any kernel-firmware-nvidia-gspx-G06 package, maybe that's why.
