A standard x86_64 machine should not have to pull in any -32bit packages. Those are compatibility layers, generally provided for backwards compatibility with binary-only modules. The goal is to eliminate the installation of *-32bit by default (the goal is NOT to eliminate the presence of the *-32bit packages!) This might actually solve issues like ug 799367 as well
