The patch from comment 6 will likely prevent the oops but I don't think it's
correct for ptp operation to do timecounter_init() with 0.
In any case, since the "Failed to restore TIMINCA clock rate delta" message
occurs frequently I've extended Takashi's kernel with another patch to log
more information about where the failure comes from and possibly try a
workaround.
Could you install the kernel from project
home:benjamin_poirier:branches:home:tiwai:bnc1075876. After a boot when the 
"Failed to restore TIMINCA clock rate delta" message occurs, please include
dmesg. It should have messages like "Failure via adjfreq" and "No SYSCFI in
TSYNCRXCTL".
