I have installed OpenSUSE x86_64 TW with KDE, I have installed vlc_Phonon and
PulseAudio, the tested applications are: vlc, DeadBeef, aplay, speaker-test,
kaffeine, amarok etc.

The backend used by all applications is PulseAudio and the audio output set has
been set on the M-Audio Audiophile 2496 (ICE1712 Envy24).

The Envy24control application starts up, detects the sound card, but the
indicators do not work.

I've also tried it as a root, but the situation does not change.

Then I installed the only openSUSE Leap 42.2 kernel package, restarted the pc,
and the sound card works correctly with all the programs.

P.S .: With the expression changing the kernel I mean only the rpm package.
