Xin Wei Hu please provide more detailed instruction how to make that
Please also note the target computer is already in use, so if there is nothing special on you mind that might be issue maybe we can close this ticket - nobody else complained so it could my strange hardware configuration, it is unusual for personal computer to use four disks.
I don't have any solid idea. So if the computer is already up and used, there's no need to abuse it with different lvm2 settings again ;) Back to the issue itself. It seems that BIOS was trying to read metadata from disk, and crashes there. To workaround, it might be helpful to move lvm2 metadata a little off. This can be achieved via several ways. For example, create a tiny partition from the beginning of the disk, and them pvcreate on the reset of the disk spaces. You can try that in the future if you have this issue again. FYI. I'm closing this bug as WONTFIX for now. Feel free to reopen it, when you have time to play with that computer again ;) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
