This was bug in MTP kio handler. To my best knowledge it was fixed during the lifecycle of 13.2. Can you still reproduce it on Leap/Tumbleweed or the 13.2? Please reopen if it is the case. I don't think we will be backporting newer kio_mtp and friends to the 13.1.
