Thanks. It's getting clearer now. The only missing piece is the binding of bl callback for MCP79. I'm building yet another test kernel with this one-liner change. Please try the kernel in OBS home:tiwai:bsc1223838-3 repo later. (It will have no extra debug output, so let's just check whether it works or not :)
