Addition:

Every of the following boot options resulted in signal 11:

- Rescue System
- Check Installation Media
- Boot Linux System 

It happened as well with SLES12SP2. Only difference was that openSUSE broke out
into signal 11 more quickly (green progression lines about 1/3 done), whereas
SLES only at the end (green progression line almost ready). Just in case this
is of relevance.

We know from others that this whole problem doesn't occur with the net install
image. But I haven't tested this yet.
