Over a year ago we announced the deprecation of NIS. Sendmail is one of the last remaining packages with NIS support and linked against libnsl. Please remove that, as it will not work in the near future anyways, since part of the NIS support are already dropped. I would submit a SR myself but sendmail has a really wired configuration system...
