No you don't ;)

To sum it up. If you are taking up patch from upstream git with verified
confirmations from other bugzillas and your own colleague you don't need to
verify it. The same like you would not verify l3 bug if customer tells you that
it works on their 100TB array, imagine yourself suddenly running around looking
for such array around the offices.
