Picture with hint how to create the partition table
I've tested gparted from build 300 in a QEMU/KVM VM on /dev/vdb. This bug seems
to be completely invalid.
This picture shows the hint what is to be done. Device -> Create Partition
Table. Then you can select e.g. msdos and afterwards you can create a new
partion - e.g. XFS. Then you can apply all operations and that works.
Always remember to select the correct device to be partioned.
@Carlos: Does this work for you as well or do you need further help?
