Seems to work very well.  I tried it as an automatic (60 second) logout and a
manually performed one.

I noticed with your original workaround there was a bit of a graphics "blip". 
Not sure if there is an actual term, but the logout consisted of a black screen
with some very quick white pixels.  I hope that makes sense.

For this new test the screen went black and worked very smoothly.  No little
white flashes.

I will continue to test it out and report back...Thanks.
