I reproduced the bug.

We have been compiling gnome-boxes with smartcard support because we had that
in openSUSE 13.2 and Tumbleweed.
Now however we are using the SLE base, and apparently the smartcard support
there is not quite up to task.

So above packages are compiled without --enable-smartcard passed to configure.

I need to confer with some more people before deciding on what route to take,
either do this, or fix the smartcard support.
Most likely the above route will be selected.
