i fixed the wake up after a few seconds, documented here: https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Installation_on_a_Mac#Suspend_to_RAM about going into suspend although kde settings are saying something else and also going to suspend although i'm on icewm - i solved those by switching distribution.
