During clean install from DVD, when configuring network and wicked is selected as network setup method, setting hostname has no effect on installer or installed system. Steps to reproduce: 1. Start clean install from DVD 2. Get to the summary point when you can setup network 3. Set wicked as network setup method 4. Enter network sttings 5. On Hostname/DNS tab set up Static hostname 6. Confirm Actual results: 1. Back at summary screen installer shows default hostname 2. Showing network settings will show changed hostname (which is ok, by the way) 3. After install hostname isn't set up. Expected results: 1. Installer summary screen should pick up hostname entered on network settings 2. Installed system should have hostname from installation My experiences are: - system ended as 'localnet' on Leap 15.2 Beta Build 589.1 installed on Virtualbox virtual machine - system ended as 'localhost' on quite recent Tumbleweed build
