I'm afraid I don't understand the question. If LVDS means "internal laptop display", well that's the only display I have, so yes it doesn't work on the internal display. I can say that as the machine wakes up, there is some green garbage that appears on the screen briefly and then disappears. The display hardware is definitely powered up, some garbage appears, then the display is cleared and it stays that way. If that kernel commit is a really really recent one, like in the last few days, perhaps it didn't make it onto that machine yet. I am running a 4.0.5 kernel from OBS:kernel, updated fairly recently.
