Patterns for Development displayed in graphical installer; IMO identical icons
make the desired pattern harder to find.
The following development patterns all have the same brickwall icon:
* Base Development
* c/c++ Development
* Tools for Packaging with Open Build Service
* RPM Build Environment
* Java Development
* Linux Kernel Development
* Perl Development
* Python3 Development
* Python Development
* Qt 5 Development
* Ruby Development
* Web Development
* YaST Development
* Tcl/Tk Development
These are also typically displayed next to each other (screenshot of example
attached). Using the same icon for all of those defeats the purpose of icons as
visual identifiers.
Many of the programming languages/environments/toolkits have recognisable
logos. In my opinion, they should be used as part of the icon where possible.
This helps to quickly select the preffered patterns.
Possible difficulty: trademarks.
