It's ok for me how it's working at the moment. It's most probably not the best
idea to automatically do a real shutdown of a VM as this could last pretty long
sometimes which could slow down the shutdown massively. Saving the VM is much
faster now especially with respect to NVME disks (which are usually pretty
fast).
