Comment # 3 on bug 1109290 from Marcus Schaefer

I would be very happy to drop setctsid from the kiwi-tools package. But for the
target distribution reported here the kiwi-tools already does not provide it.

For the sles12 package it's still valid and if you plan to port that change
there I will drop setctsid from the kiwi-tools in this distro. Just need to
know what other package will provide it.
