glad to hear that the upgrade went well after applying that workaround, but we
still have a bug here that you discovered:

We need to call "udevadm info" with a /dev/disk/by-uuid path if all we have
about a filesystem is a UUID. Right now, it is bound to crash whenever this
happens, and this is effectively a showstoper for anyone doing an upgrade in
that situation.
