I'm just about to switch to Xfce on 42.2 and the mouse settings there seems to not apply. I somehow think it is the same issue as with some other mouse control settings in other WMs that the default driver seemed to have changed from evdev to libinput? (I opened a similar bug for WindowMaker as well: bug 1014965)
