The system uses the GART-IOMMU:

[    1.685439] PCI-DMA: using GART IOMMU.

But there have been no changes to this driver in the last time. So I think its
unlikely to cause the problems here.

Just for testing, does it work when booting with 'iommu=soft' on the kernel
command line?
