Hi David, first off, please allow me to remark that rsh is very dated. Upstream is completely dead. Therefore, I emphatically suggest looking out for alternatives. I can try to help, but I need to be able to reproduce the issue. Can you provide me with step-by-step instructions on how to setup rsh so that this error occurs? It'd be also helpful if you could be more specific about which older versions of openSUSE you are talking about.
