I followed the instructions from comment 8 to reinstall wicked. After, the result of 'ls -l /etc/wicked/common.xml*' is: -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1161 Oct 14 01:02 /etc/wicked/common.xml The date is still from last month and the file still says 'false'.
