using xfce here, so the xdg-su backend differs.
when you call from an xterm

LANG=cs_CZ.utf8 xdg-su -c "/sbin/yast2 repositories"

does it still use EN? And what about
xdg-su -c "env LANG=cs_CZ.utf8 /sbin/yast2 repositories"
