Do you still have the old kernel that was installed before the update?  If so,
you have a choice in GRUB boot menu which one to choose, and boot with the old
kernel.  Does the keyboard work with the old kernel?

In anyway, please get the output of hwinfo, and attach to Bugzilla.  Also,
attach the output of dmesg on the broken case (also, if it works, take from the
working case, too).
