I saw David write: "(I opened a new bug), this ended up solving the problem I was having that I reported here a few comments back." I therefore thought the problem was solved, while this was not the case for me. I missed there was an other report, which looks similar ans is still not solved. In de dmesg i can see a loop which tries to get the GPU running, but keeps failing. This loop causes flashing of the screen (i assume). I can't see at what point is fails. Else this would be a good place to start digging.
