Fedora implements automatically hiding boot menu when all of those are true: * the previous boot succeeded (has been in session for more than 2 minutes) * no other OS is detected and shows the bootloader automatically if any of those are true: * user requested to reboot to bootloader from the desktop * the previous boot failed * user is pressing F8 on boot I would like to port the patches implementing this feature to Tumbleweed
