Yes. Your solution did solve this type of issue. But I run in another problem. Sometimes when XDM/KDM starts, the screen freezes and no login is displayed. Only a white unblinking cursor on a blank screen is displayed. The system didn't responds to any input on the keyboard. Currently I haven't tried SSH yet.
