Created attachment 828844 [details] Minimal reproducer When application maps a file without MAP_SYNC, modifies it, unmaps it, maps it again with MAP_SYNC, reads something from the mapping, then the next write generates SIGBUS. Minimal reproducer attached. $ ./sigbus_repro /mnt/pmem/file 4096 truncating /mnt/pmem/file to 4096 opening /mnt/pmem/file Bus error (core dumped) This bug was discovered by PMDK test and reported here: https://github.com/pmem/pmdk/issues/4527
