This is "fixed" for later versions of GNOME / gnome-clocks

it's now a warning as it should be.

Closing as resolved upstream.

Should however bugreporter or anyone else feel inclined to dig out the relevant
commit(s) upstream to fix this for Leap too, I'll be ready to ack the
submission.
