Hi all, i just installed the 42.2-beta on my new Acer Travelmate B116. The grub-bootmenu is painted painfully slow (and really ugly (graphical). In first installation with original HDD i needed nomodeset to install 42.2-beta correctly (it broke with unreadable letters iprn text mode) so i tried with nomodeset which worked. Today i installed it again on a new and sealed ssd and I didnt need nomodeset-swith in installation-boot-menu (from USB-stick). I can provide more information as long as you tell me what to do :-) Greetings, Christian
