sddm.conf, edited, now with Chinese(?) characters
I want to add some "HideUsers" to sddm.conf. So I opened sddm.conf both with
kate and with kwrite as root, input the users I want hidden and save the file.
Everything is legible. But cat /etc/sddm.conf shows the desaster already. I
checked, the coding(?) is set to UTF8 in either editor. The expected effect of
hiding unwanted users doesn't work. If you need more information, please ask.
