problem is with just the single line "segfault" people will have a hard time to
understand or help. You can try to run a qemu/kvm machine on your host, or even
vmware. you could try to run other guests, e.g. a current Leap 42.1 or Leap42.2
testing setup. Also, you can provide more information regarding the virtualbox
machine settings in the bug, e.g. as you mentioned nvidia, are you using any
"3d acceleration" support in vmware? you can also try to call sddm manually to
debug. Maybe you just need to install debug symbols for sddm to have a
stacktrace reported automatically on the segfault
