This is for Tumbleweed 2017-08-26 and mdm-2.0.18-2.7.x86_64 .
MDM belongs to obs://build.opensuse.org/X11 .
Error message:
GLib-CRITICAL: g_key_file_get_value: assertion 'key_file != NULL' failed
When MDM starts up it spews out 110 instances of this in syslog,
plus on all logged-in SSH sessions, due to the critical level.
It also puts out two or three each time the greeter starts, i.e. when a
user logs out and back in again.
A better cure than Pepto-Bismol: touch /usr/share/mdm/distro.conf .
