As I am not familiar with the whole LKML process, could you or another Suse
kernel developer bring up that problem upstream? I guess this workaround could
be beneficial for a wider audience (as seen in the Ubuntu bug report). I tested
your fix only with a Suse 5.3-RC1 Kernel source though.
