Thank you for the feedback.

The issue is now fixed in both master and stable (thus going to be fixed in
Tumbleweed soon). The fix is also in SLE12-SP3 (and openSUSE-42.3) which
received the offending commit with 4.4.133 stable update. It's safe to close,
I believe.
