gnome-boxes usually fails to list the existing VM's on my system. After closing and restarting the boxes a few times, it might show them up. Funnily, starting boxes from the terminal lists all VM's fine every time. I don't even know what logs to produce -- nothing seems to be logged to journalctl or such. My typical workflow when using boxes is to open and close it a few times before actually staring to work.
