A previously working AppImage that accessed the internet stopped working after
a recent Tumbleweed update of an AMD desktop and an intel based laptop  

On the same machine AMD machine Audacity started crashing. 

On an un-updated intel machine which had a working copy of GoPanda2 I installed
Audacity. Peculiarly Audacity is working but now GoPanda2 is failing. 

journalctl reveals that GoPanda2 is now causing a segfault error 4 

On the un-updated intel machine eighteen files were installed or updated to get
Audacity
