Created attachment 622250 [details] y2logs.tgz from 13.2 http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-factory/2015-02/msg00063.html Machine is Dell Optiplex 760 SFF. e8400 core2duo using legacy BIOS configuraton. This might be two or more bugs. All started by Grub Legacy installations to real hardware via HTTP from normal mirrors, either download.opensuse.org, gwdg.de or mirrors.us.kernel.org. 13.1 installation worked as expected. 13.2 installation's partitioner found no HD, until I went to tty2 to modprobe ata_piix. Tumbleweed's 03 Feb. kernel/initrd segfaulted within 3 seconds of starting. but I got it installed using 13.2's linux/initrd. also by modprobe ata_piix. same as 13.2.
