BTW if its the corner case I dread, the cumulative effect of this recurring would be an ultimate hung task being reported. But for this to happen I take it would take a long time of aggregate work to accumulate. A sleep warning however reduces the amount of time we expect the kthread to work so its a good way to also test the corner I had in mind.
