ah, I had misread the %ifnarch i586 as ifarch. Then we could still drop the version numbers to be able to have identical results on different kernels? And we can discuss with our Factory release manager to have better automatic rebuilds. So that when we get a new kernel that actually makes a difference, we also get a new yast2-sound published. Why don't we (sometimes?) use rebuild=direct in openSUSE:Factory?
