Unrelated to this bug:

If one really wants to proceed, three attempts to enter passphrase do not
result in "success" for the generated $mnt.service files. Instead systemd still
waits for the mount (or whatever) to appear. Fortunately this time with a
timeout of maybe 90 seconds. I think failed passphrase should mark the mount
point as available because otherwise something still asks for the passphrase in
the background (according to the screen shown by the ESC key)���
