That's good news.

The lack of proper switching during installation occurred for me both with 12.3
and 13.2 installing from DVD on a Macbook pro with Swiss Keyboard. 

Maybe this is a special case that the installer could not handle because of
apples strange keyboard layout. 

However it didn't switch at all, it just stayed with the US-layout. If the
installer detects that it cannot switch to the selected layout for some reason,
a warning message would be helpful.
